oh rlly? ur not a doctor to say that ” if u stop taking BC pills ur acne will come back” cuz some ppl have hormonal imbalanace which causes there acne! once there taking BC there hormones will get balanced and therefore no more acne !
OMG.. thanks so much for the relief. I am about to go off the pill and I am so so so scared that my acne will come back. I have had moderate acne and I took it NOT because I wanted to get rid of the acne.
I have really good skin now, and I’m proud of it. But hopefully this skin condition lasts even after I go off the pill!!!

no i didn’t gain any weight … but i think every women is different and will have a different reaction or not… there are so many birth control pills out there now the best thing to do is to talk to your doctor… he should take a blood sample and will prescrive you the best pill that goes with your body. that’s what i did
@Mademoiselle34310 hey, did the pill make you gain weight? i’m thinking of going on the pill to get rid of my acne, but i’m afraid it’s gonna make me gain weight.

can you please give me the names of the contraceptive pills you used, I used accutane before but I heard allese reverses the effects. Yasmin causes gall bladder disease.
i didn’t have severe acnee…just a few pimples from time to time that used to bother me…and i started taking the pill about 2 months ago,not for acnee but i hoped that could be a plus too…and mi feel like it became worst!…i have lots of brown sports and white spots…and mabye 2-3 big pimples….it is really frustrating…will it go away?how much does it usally take for the acnee to go away when taking the pill?(this is the main question i want answer for). thank you a lot:)
If a doctor tells you that he is going to make your liver stop functioning, or your heart no to work, would you take that pill to clear up acne? Do you know whats in those pills? A lot of possion- this is not about sex,this is about a woman’s body. Its also be known as a proven fact that women that have used the pill are more likely to have breast and uterine cancer? Im not trying to say that you dont know what you’re talking about- I just have so many reasons why birth control is bad.
@PuccaDear If you are just using birth control for the use of acne and do not have intercourse, or if a condom is still used then that is not abortion.

Accutane worked then i stopped using it. I don’t want to start another treatment. There were too many procedures. I am just taking bc pills and hair, skin, and nails vitamins.
Hi everyone, I posted a comment earlier below regarding my acne. I have been on the birth control pill Gianvi (generic of Yazmin) for almost a month now and my face has CONSIDERABLY cleared up. I haven’t been getting any major breakouts like I used to and the inflammations have significantly reduced. So far, I am satisfied with the results and thanks to this video for being informative.
@instantramen There are side effects to the pill you should talk to your doctor about. Also check with an allergist because its possible you could be suffering from allergy.

BIrth control has been my last resort. I’m 18 and I started getting acne in 6th grade, (a year after getting my period). I got it so early and I still have it now, 5 years later. My problem seems to be very hormonal because I notice that when my menstrual cycle comes around, my face starts to clear up for some reason. But after the cycle, the acne starts breaking out again. I really hope birth control will be the miracle to my acne despite the large risks with taking it.
